There is news doing the rounds that V.V. Vinayak is directing Manchu Vishnu. But on the contrary, the director is busy penning a script for Balakrishna instead. According to a source, “Vinayak promised producer C. Kalyan that he would do a project with Balakrishna. So now he is going all out to make a successful film,” says the source.
The director’s last few films with Akhil and Sai Dharam Tej did not do too well at the box office. Now, many feel he has lost his touch. “So the director is fully concentrating on the script to get it right again,” adds the source.
The director, who earlier directed Balakrishna for Chennakesava Reddy in 2002, is teaming up with the actor after years and doesn’t want to disappoint his fans. Vinayak is also close to the Manchu family, which is why there is news that he is directing one of them.
