After the super-duper success of the sports drama Jersey, Nani is up for a comic drama next. And by the looks of the teaser, the film — Gang Leader — is a breezy entertainer that promises to be a laugh riot. In the film, Nani plays the role of a novel writer ‘Pencil’, and the plot revolves around him running into a family of five women of different ages. It’s about how he teams up with them to go on a revenge mission. If the teaser is anything to go by, Nani is surely going to give a lot of his compatriots in the industry a run for their money all over again.
The film is directed by , who is also known for his sharp writing skills. That and Nani’s antics are surely going to be the high points of the comedy.
“Post Jersey, we know that the expectations from Nani’s film are huge. The best parts of the film are Nani’s performance and Vikram Kumar’s narration. We are confident that the interesting plotline will strike the chord with the audience at the box office,” says Ravi Shankar, one of the producers of the film.
