Seerat Kapoor is all set to do something she has never done before in a Telugu film — dubbing for herself in her next movie, Raju Gari Gadhi 2. Ask the actress what drove her to dub for her part and she reveals, “It was director Ohmkar’s idea.” She adds, “He saw one of my scenes and believed that I should dub for a performance-oriented role like mine. He felt that the quality of a performance goes up a few notches when the actor lends her voice to the character.”
After a hiatus in Tollywood, Seerat is on a signing spree these days, with as many as four films — Touch Chesi Choodu, Allu Sirish’s untitled film and Rana home production — in her kitty, and she ascribes it to her makeover. “The makeover did help me a lot, but again, it’s my belief in the kind of projects and the roles I choose. I worked on myself in the meanwhile, and it was just a matter of time before I got the right films. I am glad that the move has paid off well.”
