One of the most acclaimed directors of Telugu cinema, Krishna Vamsi, is back with a female-centric film Rudraksha, after a two year gap.
Popular producer and actor Bandla Ganesh is producing the film and is also starting afresh with it. “Recently, both Ganesh and Krishna Vamsi met and decided to do a film. Krishna Vamsi is ready with the entire script and he just wants to rope in a top actress to do the main role,” says the source, adding that once the female lead is confirmed, shooting for the film will start immediately.
Interestingly, director Krishna Vamsi, who has helmed films like Gulabi, Ninne Pelladutha, Anthapuram, Khadgam and Raakhi, is best known for message-oriented or patriotic films. Sources say that Rudraksha is also based on a real-life incident, and that the film’s story will be revealed a little later.
