An event is being held on Monday in anticipation of the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s Officer. Apart from Nagarjuna members of the Akkineni family, several industry bigwigs are expected to put in an appearance. Director Sukumar, who recently delivered the blockbuster hit Rangasthalam, has been invited as the chief guest for the event.
“RGV personally called Sukumar and invited him for the event,” a source reveals. Interestingly, RGV had invited S.S. Rajamouli as the chief guest for the pre-release event of his last film.
Officer is expected to release on June 1. The film is said to be based on a real incident that occurred in Mumbai.
