Though Poonam Kaur hasn’t done any Telugu films in a while, she has managed to remain in the public eye through social media. Her earlier tweets in support of actor-turned-political Pawan Kalyan had fuelled link-up rumours for months. She even admitted in an interview that she would like to have a husband like him. Kathi Mahesh, film critic, openly talked about her alleged relationship. Wonder what happened now because her recent tweets seem to hit out at Pawan Kalyan and his friend Trivikram Srinivas. The other day, she wrote about nammaka droham (being backstabbed), and people assumed her message was directed at either Pawan Kalyan or his friend Trivikram. Sources say when Kathi Mahesh hinted about her relationship with Pawan Kalyan, she expected the latter to come in support of her and give Kathi Mahesh a fitting reply. Which he didn’t.
‘Jalsalu choopistu agnyathavaasam lo esestadu ...Jaggeratha #namakadrohi (sic),’ Poonam tweeted. Meaning, “while he shows a colourful world in the daylight, he doesn’t hesitate to backstab you.” Her use of the words Jalsa and Agnyaathavaasi makes people believe that she may be alluding to either Pawan Kalyan or Trivikram, as they are both names of films that the two have worked on.
And when someone replied that her tweets seemed to indicate she was showing signs of depression, she shot back at them saying, ‘This is truth... not depression... I am sure your gurus are quite intellectual and get medals out of spoiling life’s ... go to them ...unfollow me ...I will sponsor your bossdoc visit next time ... tc (sic).’ It’s a well-known fact that Trivikram consults with a guru and astrologer before making any decisions, and so Poonam’s latest tweet could be about him.
Poonam must realise that she either explains clearly what she wants to say, or just keep quiet. This mumbo-jumbo isn’t making any sense.
