Leading VFX specialist in the country, R. C. Kamalakannan, who was the VFX supervisor for director Rajamouli’s recent blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, will join the team of Spyder, actor Mahesh Babu’s next with director A.R. Murugadoss, to work on the film’s climax.
“The sequence is very important and will have some high-end action. The filmmakers were very keen that the VFX work is handled by a thorough professional. Kamalakannan was the obvious choice,” reveals a source.
The man himself confirmed the news, saying, “I am very happy to be a part of the film. The principal studio working on the film will be from Russia.” All set to be wrapped up by June 2, the film will release in the third week of September. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead.
