Raashi Khanna seems to be one of the industry’s favourites now. While she’s got the anticipated film with Jr NTR in the pipeline, the actress has meanwhile signed a couple of projects in Tamil and is also making her Malayalam debut alongside Mohanlal. Now, Raashi has apparently agreed to be a part of Varun Tej’s next film, a light-hearted romance with director Venky Atluri.
Interestingly, Mehreen Kaur and Rakul Preet Singh were also considered earlier for the same role. “Raashi has been on a roll ever since she firmly resolved to do films that give her visibility. She has been listening to a lot of stories but is taking it slow. This new film came across as an opportunity to connect to a whole new set of audiences and she didn’t want to say no,” reveals a source. A confirmation is soon expected from Raashi.
