Despite their best efforts to get a YSR Congress Party ticket for one of their family members, the Manchu family has been unsuccessful till now. However, from the last few days, the entire Manchu clan, including Mohan Babu and his younger son Manchu Manoj have been openly criticising Chandrababu Naidu for not releasing money to their college. Amidst speculation of a political agenda behind Mohan Babu’s accusations, buzz is that the veteran actor will officially join the YSRCP soon.
“Mohan Babu is going to meet Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and is all set to join his party. He may campaign for YSRSCP in this election,” says a source, adding that the veteran actor has met Jagan several times in the last few years, and that his elder daughter-in-law (Viranica) is also a close relative of the YSRCP chief.
