Wamiqa Gabbi, who made her Telugu debut with Bhale Manchi Roju opposite Sudheer Babu, will soon be seen in another Telugu film. The actress’ Tamil film Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is releasing in Telugu as Nannu Vadili Neevu Polevule on April 1. Popular director Sri Raghava’s wife Geethanjali is making her debut as director with the film.
“I am proud to be a part of this film,” says Wamiqa Gabbi, adding, “I am totally in love with the script as the character is very realistic and the story too.” “I danced a lot in my debut Telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju, but in this film the dance number is very real, like how a couple dances in their house,” she says.
The actress also praises director Geethanjali and her husband Sri Raghava. “It was really an honour working for this film especially with Sri Raghava sir providing the script and screenplay. He came to the sets and explained all the scenes and it became very easy for us to act. He also patiently cleared our doubts when we ask questions about the characters and story,” she says.
She is happy that she got a very good character in her second film. “My first film was a comedy thriller and I am happy that this is completely different from my debut film.It will leave an impact,” she says. Kola Bhaskar is the lead actor in this film.
