Thakur Anoop Singh to star in Singham 3 remake

Actor Thakur Anoop Singh will make his Bollywood debut with Singham 3

After impressing the South audience in the role of baddie with his performance and enviable physique, Thakur Anoop Singh is now set to debut in Bollywood as a lead actor.

While Anoop played a baddie in Singham 3, in a rare turn of events, he will be starring in the Bollywood remake of the same film. “I am thrilled to be debuting with a cop role in Bollywood,” shares an excited Anoop, adding that Pen Studios, which co-produced Singham 3, is launching him in Hindi.

The actor says that he has trained himself to be an action star. “I have invested all my time in learning martial arts, taekwondo, kickboxing, gymnastics, etc., so that I can do the action sequences myself in the film. Now all the years of training and effort have come in handy for my cop role,” he shares.

“I believe if you can offer something interesting and bring out a unique style of acting you can carve a niche. I believe Singham 3 Hindi will give me that opportunity to showcase my acting abilities,” says the actor, who, for a change, will be seen in a positive role in the Ravi Teja-starrer Khiladi.

“I play a parallel lead and director Ramesh Varma has etched a beautiful role. I had grown my hair and had not had a haircut for the last six years. But for Khiladi, I had to cut off my hair,” shares the Winner actor.
