Sai Dharam Tej and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Winner got a good opening on Friday, with the first day collections being the highest ever in Sai Dharam Tej’s career.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalupu Srinivas, the film collected Rs 6.4 crore worldwide on its first day, making it the thirdhighest openings film this year, after Khaidi No.150 and Gautamiputra Sathakarni.
The anticipations about the film were mixed, but its commercial elements attracted the masses. The trade analysts predict that the film’s collections are going to continue to be good even during the coming weekend, especially as there is no other film slated for release.
In Nizam, the biggest territory for any film, Sai Dharam Tej got a share of Rs 1.67 crore, which is good for a star like him on the opening day.
