Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is all set to join the sets of filmmaker Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming film, Rangamarthanda. We’ve been told that the director was fascinated with Anasuya’s screen presence and performance in her earlier film, Rangasthalam.
The upcoming film, which is an official remake of Marathi film Natsamrat, is an emotional family drama. Krishna Vamsi felt that Anasuya’s expressions will perfectly fit the bill for a role that he had imagined.
Sources tell us that when approached for the part, Anasuya, too, who has been on the lookout for substantial parts, found her role in the family drama to be very challenging and exciting.
“One of the reasons Anasuya picked up the role was because it was offered by one of her favourite directors Krishna Vamsi. Moreover, it is an impactful role and very crucial when it comes to driving the narrative,” adds the source.
However, Anausya’s role in that film, which has Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna playing a couple, has been kept under wraps.
