The Vijay Deverakonda craze continues as his latest film Taxiwala heads towards becoming another blockbuster. On Friday evening the actor participated in a huge gathering at Bheemavaram and spoke about the film’s success.
“We started Taxiwala with a new director, new producer and new cast and technicians. From the beginning of this film many bad things happened, the film didn’t come out well, so we stopped shooting and re-shot. The pirated film came out three months before the film’s release and I heard comments like Vijay’s down with this film. I also heard that the film is bad and didn’t work out for me. But I am confident. I had said that I would be back with this film and now I have proved it,” Vijay told the gathering.
The meet at Bheemavaram in Andhra Pradesh was planned as Vijay’s fan base is increasing. The actor thanked many top actors who supported the film when the pirated version came out. “Bunny anna came for my pre-release function, Suriya sir, Prabhas anna, Charan anna, Dulquer and many other actors from the industry tweeted and supported the film and I thank all of them,” the Arjun Reddy star said.
Director Rahul Sankrityan was introduced with this film and also SKN as producer. The event was held at a college and some of thousands of letters written to Vijay Deverakonda by girls were read out on the stage.
