Directors Ram Gopal Varma and Teja are competing against each other in making the biopic of the late NTR. While the guru and sishya (Teja started his film career with RGV’s film Shiva) are directing two different films on NTR, Balakrishna is enacting NTR’s role in Teja’s film while RGV is still looking for his lead.
Meanwhile, both directors are competing on social media in uploading pictures of NTR. RGV recently uploaded a few pictures of NTR along with Lakshmi Parvati and Chandrababu Naidu, while Teja uploaded old NTR pictures in a public meeting, during childhood and with different political leaders.
Teja’s biopic, which is scheduled for a May 28 release next year, has already started its pre-production work and the search is on for female leads. RGV meanwhile, is planning to release his film next year around Diwali. Both are in the news because of this and one has to wait to see the result of the two films.
