In a big development, Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures has decided not to produce Boyapati Srinu-Bellamkonda Srinivas’ film. The film was officially launched some time ago and the shoot was supposed to start soon.
Now that Abhishek has pulled out of the project, M. Ravinder Reddy, who is also producing Naga Chaitanya’s Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo, is going to produce it.
According to a source, till a few days back, all was well between Bellamkonda Suresh and Abhishek Nama. But when Abhishek announced five projects at the same time, Bellam-konda started doubting whether the producer could concentrate on his son’s project. Abhishek assured him of his commitment. “But in the last few days, Bellamkonda kept expressing his doubt over his son’s film. Abhishek decided to come out of the project at the beginning as he does not want to take the blame in the end,” says the source.
The project features Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad as music director.
“All of them will continue to work for the project and Bellamkonda has agreed to pay the amount put into this project till date to Abhishek with interest,” says a source.
With Abhishek pulling out of this project, Boyapati Srinu also didn’t wish to continue, but Bellamkonda pacified him. The source adds that Boyapati Srinu has agreed to do a film for Abhishek in the near future. When contacted, Abhishek Nama confirmed that he is no longer doing the project. “I can’t say anything as I want to maintain good relations with everyone in the industry,” he said.
