Her earlier films in Tamil and Kannada — Kadambari and Jhan Jhana Jhan are yet to be released, but actress Kaashima Rafi is already making inroads into Telugu cinema.
Word is that Kaashima is making her Tollywood debut as the leading lady in a romantic entertainer directed by debutant Ganukuntla Ramesh. Apparently, the director picked her out after he saw her photos taken at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South 2019, held recently in Hyderabad.

Talking about the film, the actress shares, “I feel thrilled to be part of one of the most happening industries (Tollywood). I played a college-goer in both my earlier films, and since this film is also a youthful entertainer, I believe my past experience will be of great help.”
The Bengaluru-born Kaashima adds that she always wanted to become an actress. “During my college days, I played an active part in dramatic activities, and it’s a blessing that my dream of becoming an actress has been fulfilled,” she reveals, adding, “Since I am a trained classical dancer, I believe my expressive side will come in handy, especially during the emotional scenes.”
