Whenever a big-budget film releases in Telugu, the producers hike its ticket price. Now, with the craze for the upcoming Prabhas-starrer Saaho, which is releasing on August 30, the distributors have sought permission from the Andhra Pradesh Government to hike its ticket price to Rs 200. The filmmakers are expected to increase the price of the ticket in Telangana too.
With this, the first weekend revenues are expected to be high and the filmmakers hope to garner as much revenue as possible on the first three days of the film’s release. Also, given that the Telangana Government had recently permitted five shows in single-screen theatres, Saaho, which expects to get that permission too, also plans extra shows in both the states. Directed by Sujeeth, this action film is being promoted by Prabhas as a visual treat especially in the last half an hour of the film.
