Actor Ravi Teja’s forthcoming film Disco Raja has been the talking point for the film’s interesting plotline. We have now learnt that, staying true to the title, the filmmakers are planning to bring back the yesteryear disco dance moves in the Vi-Anand directorial.
The filmmakers felt that disco dance was something that gained prominence in the 1980s, the period the film is set in. Hence, they felt it would be more authentic to show disco dance moves in the film. And Ravi Teja will be seen shaking his leg to disco dance numbers.
“Ravi Teja is playing a dual role in the movie, of a father and the son. And to play the son’s role, the 51-year-old actor has lost oodles of weight. This really helps the actor to showcase his disco dance moves in the film. And the dance moves will be one of the major highlights of the action drama,” a source informs us.
“The crew on the sets too were shell shocked to see Ravi Teja’s transformation. He looks very lean and it’s possible he will take the audience by surprise too,” informs the source, adding, “Ravi Teja underwent extensive weight loss training program to bring the vibrancy back in his looks.”
Produced by Ram Talluri, Disco Raja, which is slated for a December release, features Nabha Natesh and Payal Rajput as the leading ladies.
