Director Ravikanth of Kshanam fame got engaged to his girlfriend Veena Ghantasala, the granddaughter of legendary singer Ghantasala, in Chennai on August 12. The event was attended by families of both the sides and friends. Apparently, it was love at first sight for the director when he met her on the sets of Kshanam.
Sharing his love story, Ravikanth says, “I fell in love the moment I saw her. We met on the sets of Kshanam when I was looking for a dubbing artiste for my film’s leading lady Adah Sharma. Soon, we began to interact frequently and after a couple of years, I proposed to her. She did not agree immediately, but took her time to say yes. Soon we convinced both our parents for the marriage and things went well.” Chennai-based Veena is the daughter of noted dubbing artist Ratna Kumar. (son of legendary singer Ghantasala). She has crooned several hit numbers and also dubs for actresses. The wedding will take place on November 11 in Chennai.
