Gopichand, who is constantly on the lookout for inspiring scripts, has reportedly green- lighted an action entertainer by new director Kumar Sai.
Although Gopichand’s last release Pantham did not live up to its expectations, the film has grossed well at the box office. And that has rejuvenated the actor and given him a much needed boost to further pick up films that are high on action.
Debutant director Kumar Sai, who penned an action drama, felt that Gopichand would be apt for the protagonist’s role while the actor felt that it would be the right kind of project for him to further elevate his mass image.
A source shares, “Gopichand is currently going through an ordinary phase at the box- office. He’s looking for scripts that have all the commercial ingredients and that can cater to all the sections of the audience. He eventually flagged off Kumar Sai’s script.”
