Nagarjuna-Nani film is not a remake: Sriram Adittya

Reports doing the rounds suggest that director Sriram Adittya’s upcoming film, which stars Nagarjuna and Nani, is a remake of the Hindi film Johnny Gaddar. However, the director has dismissed these reports and said that his film is not a remake.

He has used Twitter to issue a clarification, “My next film with @iamnagarjuna sir and @NameisNani Produced by @VyjayanthiFilms is not a Remake of any film. It’s an original script .Just wanted clarify :) (sic).”

Nagarjuna reportedly plays a mafia don in the film, while Nani plays a doctor. The actors have already finished shooting half the film. Rashmika Mandanna and Akanksha Singh are playing the leading ladies in the comic caper.
