Box-office: Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu mints a whopping Rs 55 cr on opening day
Mumbai: Pawan Kalyan might have had a disastrous 2016, with his much hyped 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' bombing real bad at the box-office.
However, the superstar has bounced back in style with his latest release, 'Katamarayudu'. The film, a remake of Tamil star Ajith's 2014 hit 'Veeram,' has opened to unprecedented box-office results.
The film has minted close to a whopping 55 crore rupees approx. on its opening day, according to Times of India. This has surpassed his brother Chiranjeevi's 41 crore mammoth comeback with 'Khaidi No 150'.
The film with its good critical reviews is also expected to shatter many more records in the coming days.
Tollywood is expected to have a glorious year, with 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' also expected to shatter a lot many records.
