It’s a romantic thriller

Sathya says, the film may start as a love story but as the narrative progresses, the story creates curiosity and gives the impression of a thriller.

There was a time when people used to imitate actor Sathya Prakash’s style and body language. “I guess that’s the beauty of cinema and I am thankful to my filmmakers who gave me such roles,” the actor recalls, revealing that he came to the industry to become a director, but I ended up being an actor.”

Talking about his January 1 release, Sathya says, “The film may start as a love story but as the narrative progresses, the story creates curiosity and gives the impression of a thriller. I stayed true to the script and as such, I have cast new actors.”

Admitting that turning director was challenging, the director says, “Transforming the script on screen is always a challenge, but thankfully my experience as an actor came in handy.”
