Damodara Prasad, who has in the past made realistic films, like Ala Modalaindi, Anthaku Mundu Aa Tharuvatha and Kalyana Vaibhogame, has been silent for the last few years. The producer has now announced a clutch of upcoming projects. “I have been reading many scripts and waiting for good ones, so it takes time.
Now, I have finalised a few scripts and I intend starting all of them simultaneously,” says Damodara Prasad, adding that the first project is likely to hit the floors in January.
“With this film, I will be introducing Sagar as a director, along with many other technicians and actors,” he informs. He will also announce three other projects soon. Not one to make a film in a hurry, the producer explains the two-year gap saying, “There are many young directors, who are very talented and are coming up with innovative points. They need some guidance, so it takes time to incorporate those ideas into a complete script.”
