Actor Brahmaji is now in the big league of character actors. After the success of Venkatadri Express, in which the actor did a lengthy comic role, a few years ago, he created his own space. Janatha Garage showed that he could pull off both serious and comedy roles.
Now, filmmakers are approaching him even for one or two scenes, such as in the recently released Jai Lava Kusa. Though the actor was seen only in a couple of scenes with Jr NTR, those were considered highlights of the film. He also played a major part in Next Nuvve, where his role was critically acclaimed.
A source informs that Brahmaji will play a key role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy too. “It’s an important role and the makers initially approached other actors, before okaying Brahmaji,” says the source. This role is likely to be a turning point for him, adds the source. Meanwhile, the actor is also playing important roles in Nani’s Krishnarjuna Yudham and Sharwanand’s upcoming film that is going to start shooting from January and a few other films.
