Suriya's Singam will release on time

Undeterred by the cash crunch in the country, Suriya’s film, Singam, will release on December 16, as announced earlier. “We are releasing the film on time and don’t want to postpone it. If the content is good, the audience will definitely watch it,” says Malkapuram Shivakumar, producer of the Telugu version.

This is the third sequel in the Singam series, and will have Shruti Haasan and Anushka Shetty as the female leads. “We are planning a huge release for the Telugu audience,” says Shivakumar, who bought the Telugu distribution rights for a whopping Rs 18 crore. The film will release in Tamil and Telugu on the same date.
