I initially doubted Praveen Sattaru, says Rajasekhar
Actor Rajasekhar is all set to make his comeback with PSV Garuda Vega 126.18M. The actor, explaining how he got the role, says, “After giving many flops, many people advised me to do negative roles or character roles and I even took their advice seriously. Then many people approached me with stories, but nothing excited me, so I didn’t do anything. Then Praveen Sattaru narrated this story. He told me that he liked my film Magaadu and wanted to do a film in that genre. Initially, I had my doubts whether he could handle this subject, but he did a brilliant job and he is the man behind this Garuda Vega.”
Revealing that the proposed budget of the film was Rs 5 crore, but later we realised that the story need a bigger budget. “When we were looking for a good producer, my father’s friend Koteswara Raju garu came on board and was ready to take the project,” says Rajasekhar, adding, “This film has been made with a Rs 25 crore budget because we have made it on par with Hollywood standards.”
Stating that his family doesn’t interfere with the filmmaking process, the actor says, “Many people thought me and my wife Jeevitha interfere in filmmaking, but we never do that. If the director has any doubts, we will clarify them.”
Notably, the teaser of the film, which was released on Friday looked quite impressive.
