That actor and Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a pivotal role in an upcoming Telugu film, Uppena, is a known thing. However, recently, there was also a strong buzz that the actor had quit the project and that the filmmakers have replaced him with another actor. Quashing all the rumours, the makers of Uppena have now released a photo that shows Vijay Sethupathi on the sets of the film. Clearly, the actor has started shooting for his part in the Buchi-Babu directorial.
“So far, around 40% the shooting has been completed, and we are glad to have Vijay joining the sets in this schedule. We are currently shooting in a specially assembled set in Sarathi Studios under art directors Mounika and Ramakrishna. We are confident that Vijay’s onscreen presence will elevate the film’s visual appeal,” explain the filmmakers.
Uppena also marks the debut of Panja Vaisshnav Tej, nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi, and has Kriti Shetty as the leading lady. The action entertainer is jointly produced by Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers.
