Manchu Manoj is upbeat about his next
Manchu Manoj who has taken a very long break since his last film, is set to be seen in Okkadu Migiladu, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, and from the looks of it, he is very excited about it. The actor will play a political leader in the film, with his character sharing similarities with LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.
In fact, the actor has put on 10kg of weight for his role in the film! “This look was necessary for the film and he was keen to give it his all. He has always believed in giving his 100 per cent to his films. That is one reason he generally does his own stunts too,” shares a source in the know.
Interestingly, Manoj has done a great deal of research for the film. “He has done extensive homework. He is also quite happy that he will be reaching out to the Tamil audiences because he grew up in Chennai. This film is like going back to the roots,” shares a source.
Directed by Ajay Andrews, the film is one of the most ambitious projects of Manoj so far.
