Bholaa Shankar: Chiru allots highest number of days

After the not-so-impressive film ‘Godfather’, a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Lucifer,’ megastar Chiranjeevi is taking special interest in his upcoming movie ‘Bholaa Shankar,’ which is a remake of Tamil movie ‘Vedalam’. “Chiru has allotted 130 shooting days for this film which is the highest in his career for any film (with 'Anji' movie being an exception) to take the Telugu version to the next level and deliver a sure-shot hit,” says a source.

Chiru will be wrapping up his portions by June 30 and likes to take a small break. “Earlier, he allocated 120 days for ‘Waltair Veerayya and its massive success vouches for his hard work and commitment,” the source adds.

The 67-old-year star exerted himself in action sequences and also grooved to racy numbers in 'Bholaa Shankar' to enthrall his huge fan following. “He has excelled in action sequences and the ‘interval fight’ would give goosebumps to viewers and also his dancing skills have come in handy,” he adds. The mega-budget movie is being produced by Anil Sunkara, who is pinning big hopes on this star-studded movie after a disaster like ‘Agent’.

Glam divas Tammanah and Keerthy Suresh play key roles in this wholesome entertainer being helmed by Meher Ramesh.
