'Would love to be a part of Mohanlal's Mahabharata': Prabhas reacts to KRK tweets

Kamaal R Khan had said that Prabhas would make for a better Bheema in the reinterpretation, also calling Mohanlal 'Chhota Bheem'.

Mumbai: Mohanlal had pulled a stunner by announcing that his highly anticipated adaptation of MT Vasudevan Nair's Mahabharata re-interpretation, 'Randamoozham,' was well on course, and that it had been allotted an unprecedented 1000-crore rupees.

The director of the film, V A Sreekumar Menon, had revealed that the film would have top stars from across the Indian film industries in prominent and vital roles.

The film, entirely narrated from the perspective of Bheema, will have Mohanlal play the role in it.

While fans and cinephiles from across the world have been rejoicing the magnanimity of the project, one man in particular, hadn't been too impressed.

Self-styled actor-critic Kamaal R Khan had taken to his Twitter feed to let the know how much of a 'miscast' Mohanlal was for the role, referring to him as 'Chotta Bheem'.

KRK also went on to name 'Prabhas' as the one actor he'd like to watch play the role.

Though KRK apologised later on after receiving severe flak.

However, when Prabhas was quizzed about KRK wanting him to play Bheema, at the audio launch of his own upcoming fantasy juggernaut 'Baahubali: The Conclusion,' the actor had a very dignified response to the verbal volleys that ensued.

“Mohanlal sir is playing that role (Bheema). If he leaves any character for me. If I get a chance, why won’t,” he quipped.

Well, that would some serious casing coup.
