Although Naga Shaurya’s new film @Nartanasala was officially launched a couple of days ago, there was no announcement about the female lead. However, according to a source, actress Mehreen Kaur has been approached for the part.
The source adds that the makers are still discussing the nitty-gritties of the actress’ remuneration. “Mehreen has quoted nearly '90 lakh and an amount of '20,000 for daily expenses, including her assistants and outfits. This has got the makers thinking,” shares the source, adding that the makers will freeze Mehreen only if she lowers her quote.

“The problem is that these actresses hike their remuneration after one or two successes and leave the makers with no other option,” mentions the source.
Directed by debutant Srinivas Chakravarthy, the project is set to go on floors soon.
