It seems like the Andhra Pradesh Government has a soft corner for actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi. The senior actor recently attended a pre-release event organised for his son’s film in Visakhapatnam.
And according to a source, “The Vizag police initially didn’t give permission for the event as they sighted some problems. The makers were very tensed right till the end. But at that point Chiranjeevi intervened and spoke to an influential friend, and got the government’s clearance.” In fact, the event, which would have been cancelled without Chiranjeevi’s support, ended up being a big hit.
Interestingly, another big Tollywood event is being planned in Vizag on April 7 at the same venue, but the film’s makers haven’t got a clearance from the AP authorities yet. So, will Chiranjeevi come to the rescue again?
