After the success of Dhuruvangal Pathinaru in Tamil and the positive reception to its Telugu version, 16- Every Detail Counts, it seems actor Rahman’s stakes have gone up.
Being a part of the super hit film Janatha Garage also proved an advantage for him. Now, yet another of his Tamil films Oru Mugathirai is being dubbed into Telugu.
“Actor Rahman is known to Telugu audiences from a long time but he managed to strike a chord with Janatha Garage and 16. That’s why a release was considered here,” shares a source.
Oru Mugathirai is a thriller that revolves around a psychiatric doctor who is infatuated with a psychology student and turns into a psychopath.
D. Venkatesh acquired the Telugu rights for the film under the banner DV Cine Creations. Interestingly, he is also releasing Jiiva and Kajal Aagarwal-starrer Enthavaraku Ee Prema.
