Netizens disappointed over delay of Katamarayudu's trailer release

Netizens were a disappointed lot as news related to the teaser of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming flick Katamarayudu was announced recently. Initially scheduled to release on January 26, the makers decided to postpone the release. Producer Sharrath Marar posted, #Katamarayudu teaser will not be released on 26th Jan. Will announce the date soon. Stay subscribed and thanks for the support (sic).”

Buzz is that the teaser release has been postponed in solidarity with the ‘AP Demands Special Status’ protest that Pawan Kalyan has been strongly supporting. The protest is scheduled to take place at RK Beach in Vizag on Republic Day and there is a strong online movement about the same.

Katamarayudu is the remake of Tamil film Veeram and is directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani. Anup Rubens has scored the tunes of the film that stars Shruthi Haasan as the female lead.
