In no hurry
Actress Ruhani Sharma won brownie points for her portrayal of an independent girl in her Telugu debut Chi La Sow. Soon after, she was approached for several projects by filmmakers, and there was a buzz that she had even signed a couple of films. However, Ruhani says that she is in no hurry to sign films, just for the heck of it.
“I felt glad after getting so much appreciation for my performance in my debut film (Chi La Sow), so I am waiting for an ideal follow up,” she reveals, adding, “I have been approached by several filmmakers post the success of my debut film, but it’s just that my role and the script have not fascinated me.”
Meanwhile, the actress has apparently been honing her Telugu skills. “When I started shooting for the film last year I was new to the language, and my team helped me with the lines. But I have made it a point to pick up the language as I feel it will me help me to better express myself and bring out the right emotion. I am working on the language,” explains Ruhani, who is also acting in commercials.
