After successful Tamil debut, Nivetha Pethuraj’s Tollywood entry is equally successful. Ask the actress what her success in Mental Madilo means to her, and she says, “It means a lot. I haven’t let my earlier success get to my head. I kept working just as hard for my Telugu debut as I had for my first Tamil movie. I think this has paid off. It’s always a happy feeling to be recognised in other industries as well. Telugu audience has been extremely welcoming and has accepted me.”
The actress admits that picking up Telugu was tough initially. “Since I am new to it, learning the language was a bit tough at first. So I ensured that I prepared hard for my dialogues and that they were literally haunting me,” shares Nivetha.
Nivetha reveals that she has learnt to be patient with her work. “I have realised that everything takes its own time. What is destined will come to you. Earlier, I was short-tempered, used to work 16 hours a day, and naturally, stress levels were high.”
The actress is now looking forward to sign more Telugu films. “I would love to work in more movies and I am already in talks for a couple of projects. I want to balance both Telugu and Tamil films,” she signs off....
