Sudheer Babu stars in Veerabhoga Vasantha Rayulu along with Naara Rohith, Sri Vishnu and Shriya Saran. The film has found itself mired in controversy after the release of its trailer, when it was discovered that actor Sudheer Babu hadn’t lent his voice to his role.
Somebody else has dubbed his voice, reveals a source. Sudheer had refused to dub for his role because of various reasons. He even tweeted that he couldn’t explain why he didn’t do so on a social media platform. Our source, however, reveals that Sudheer had wanted some changes in the film in the editing room, which the director didn’t agree to.
“Sudheer went to the editing room to see his portion and asked the director Indrasena for a few changes. The director couldn’t agree to those changes, as it would affect the film. This angered the actor and he decided not to dub for his role,” says the source.
The team then decided to rope in a dubbing artiste for Sudheer Babu’s role and released the trailer. They did the same for the entire film and hence Sudheer Babu may now distance himself from the film’s publicity too.
