Hindi television actress Simran Pareenja, who has starred in daily soaps like Kala Teeka and Bhagyalakshmi (where she played one of the protagonists), is coming to Tollywood. The actress will now be seen playing one of the female leads alongside Samyuktha Hegde in Nikhil Siddharth’s upcoming film, the remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party.
A popular child artiste, Simran eventually made her acting debut on TV when she was 22 years old. “Simran wanted to be a part of feature films and was waiting for the perfect opportunity. With this youthful entertainer, she saw the perfect prospect especially since her role is quite interesting,” shares a source in the know.
The film, being directed by debutant Sharan Koppishetty, has dialogues by Chandoo Mondeti and screenplay by Sudheer Varma. Produced by Anil Sunkara, the team recently wrapped up an elaborate schedule in North India.
