A year after her debut in Oka Manasu, Niharika Konidela has taken on a new film in Telugu. Sumanth Ashwin will be the male lead in the film being directed by debutant Lakshman Karya.
“Niharika has been getting several offers since her debut. However, she was keen to take up something only if she’s sure about it. This film felt like a perfect choice and she okayed it soon after. It was after a couple of discussions that she was convinced by her role though,” shares a source in the know.
The film will be produced by U.V. Creations’ new venture Pocket Cinema. The film’s pre-production is presently going on and the shoot begins in the first week of October.
Meanwhile, Niharika has been working on a Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi.
