Sharwanand, Sriram Aditya movie goes over budget?

It looks like young actor Sharwanand is a bit worried since the budget of his upcoming untitled film with director Sriram Aditya has gone overboard. “Initially, it was supposed to be wrapped up within Rs 30 crores but now it has crossed Rs. 35 crores and still shooting is pending in London, Scotland and Austria,” says a source and adds, “Even the number days of Sharwanand have gone up to 70 days which has affected his plans for other films. Hence, he had a discussion with the director.”

It is billed to be a romantic drama revolving around Sharwanand, Kirthi Shetty and Shiva Kandukuri and it was extensively shot in picturesque locales in and around London. “Expenses can be curtailed only if the number of shooting days is reduced since it could cost thousands of pounds additionally. In fact, a lot of meticulous planning is needed if you are shooting on foreign soil,” he adds.

The film is being produced by People Media Factory who were satisfied with the ‘output’ but also felt that budgets have to be reined in a bit. “Every actor has a particular market and producers believe that they could sell it for more with promotions along with the response for teasers and trailers. Even then, there will be invincible boundaries which shouldn’t be breached,” he concludes.
