Shivani Rajashekar is in demand! The young star has not just one but two debuts lined up. The actress, who is currently shooting for her Telugu debut, Two States, will be foraying into Kollywood too. In Tamil, she’s paired opposite Vishnu Vishal in a rustic drama directed by debutant Venkatesh.
Talking about her role, Shivani says, “I play a college-goer who travels from one place to another. I will be seen as a traditional girl and the daughter of the village head (played by actor Prabhu).” The actress says she instantly connected with the role when she heard the narration.
“The best part is that it brings out several emotions and that gives me ample scope to perform,” she adds.
Shivani also shares that working in Kollywood has given her a different perspective. “Although I am aware of the industry, working in a Tamil film has given me firsthand insights on how things operate here. But it is a liberating experience,” explains Shivani.
