Chiranjeevi cancels shoot for KVP's Bill
Hyderabad: Film actor cum politician Chiranjeevi has cancelled his shooting to attend the Parliament on Friday, as the Congress has issued a whip to all members to be present in the House in the wake of introduction of some Private Member's Bills on Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi, a Rajya Sabha MP, was at his 150th shooting when the whip was issued to him near Hyderabad. He immediately rushed to New Delhi. However, the private bill introduced by Congress MP K.V.P. Speaking to the media, Mr Chiranjeevi said if the BJP voted against the special status bill, the status of special category for AP will be sealed. He said, “The BJP is caught between the devil and the deep sea. The bill introduced by KVP has to come up for voting.” Chiranjeevi was at a shooting location at Singappaguda village near Hyderabad.
