Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are waiting for normality to resume to work on their forthcoming film, Acharya. But their original plans may change.
Ram Charan was to play an important role in the film along with Chiranjeevi, but now with the lockdown, things could be different. Charan is doing the prestigious RRR under Rajamouli’s direction, and the latter had agreed to release him for a month for Chiru’s film before the lockdown.
But now, Charan’s first priority will be RRR and not his father’s film. “It is up to Chiranjeevi, whether to wait till Charan completes RRR or opt for another actor in order to complete his film as early as possible,” says a source close to the unit.
Chiru is expected to discuss the situation with his Koratala, and the two will take a decision soon.
