After a long gap, B.V.S. Ravi is directing Jawaan starring Sai Dharam Tej. The film’s shooting is going on at a brisk pace as the makers are planning to release it in August.
Recently, the unit came back to the city after shooting two songs in Italy. “Jawaan does not have a military backdrop as it is a complete family entertainer,” says the director. “The film talks about how a jawaan is important for the country and saves it from enemies, and how every family needs a person like him. It’s a good concept-based film,” he says, describing the upcoming movie.
He adds that Sai Dharam Tej is playing a middle-class guy. “A few problems arise and how he solves them with his intelligence and confidence is the main plot,” informs Ravi.
Mehreen is the female lead and the director praised her for her performance. “She is going to be the highlight of the film,” he says. The action scenes will be shot in Hyderabad from Friday onwards. “We will complete the film in July,” says the director.
