We had mentioned recently that Raj Tharun had signed a three-film deal with A.K. Entertainments. They had roped in Vamsi of Dongata fame as the director of the first film and shooting had also started.
A source now says that shooting has stopped and the project is almost shelved. “Director Vamsi told the makers that he couldn’t handle this project and wanted to get out of it,” says the source, adding that it was Raj Tharun’s interference with the script that the director couldn’t handle.
This is not the first time that the actor’s project has been shelved. In fact this is the third project shelved with the same producers. The makers are now looking for other options and may go for another story and another director. Sources say that they may choose a certain woman director as they are impressed with her story.
