Anjali revealed to us that filming for her upcoming film Lissa, which is scheduled to release this Friday, was quite challenging for her. “Lissa happens to be my first 3D film ever, and we faced a number of technical difficulties while shooting, which made the entire affair quite challenging for me as an actress, too,” the actress said.
“Firstly, positioning cameras to shoot in 3D is very different from positioning cameras to shoot in 2D. The camera crew was operating up to four cameras and six monitors at a time so sometimes, even if the director approved a shot, they’d request a retake. As an actor, I found repeating an otherwise perfectly delivered shot quite challenging,” Anjali explained.

“We shot the film in Kodaikanal during the winter. This was essentially done to capture the right effect,” the actress revealed. Anjali had scheduled to fly to the US to shoot her next film, but the producer Suresh Kondeti very kindly asked her to stay back to promote the film.
