Chiranjeevi’s best wishes for Murthy

Narayana Murthy is known for his leftist films that expose the exploitation of society’s lower strata.

Tollywood’s megastar Chiranjeevi graced the pre-release event of R. Narayana Murthy’s Marketlo Prajaswamyam as chief guest. “I’ve known Murthy since 1978. We met first on the sets of my film Pranam Khareedu, in which he had been assigned a small part. Subsequently, we ran into each other several times in Pondi Bazaar after which, we began hanging out,” Chiranjeevi revealed.

“He hasn’t changed one bit from the person I had met three decades ago. He has a pure heart and believes in hard work. Despite his resounding success, Murthy never took to commercial cinema. He has continued to pursue what he believes in, and that is what I truly admire about the man,” the actor said.

Narayana Murthy is known for his leftist films that expose the exploitation of society’s lower strata, and Marketlo Prajaswamyam essentially sheds light on cracks in our democratic system as perceived by the director. “He is a progressive individual and that shows in his work. I wish him great success for his upcoming movie,” Chiranjeevi concluded.
