Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film with director Praveen Sattaru, for which pre-production work was on in full-swing, has suffered a huge setback.
The makers have decided to shelve the film after examining budget estimates. The film was to have been shot with the Himalayas as its backdrop, but permissions to shoot in the mountain range can be quite expensive.
Confirming the news, Praveen Sattaru says, “Due to budget constraints, the project is not happening. We would love to shoot the film, but taking into consideration several factors involved in its production, we have decided to drop the project.”
When asked about his future plans, he says, “I have a few projects in hand. I am still weighing my options.”
Meanwhile, Ram is busy wrapping up Hello Guru Prema Kosame, which is being directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
